This apple galette has been one of the easiest and tastiest free-form pie that I've made as of now. I still cannot believe that this pie is made from only basic ingredients found in our daily kitchen. Who knew a little knick-knack of everything taste good?

Ingredients:

Pastry
160g plain flour
75 unsalted butter
45ml water
1/2 tsp salt

Fillings
2 apples
200ml apple juice
1tbsp lemon juice

Directions:

*(preheat over at 170 degree celsius first)

1.    Combine flour and butter, then ensure they become just like breadcrumbs.
2.    Add in salt and water.
3.    Bring everything together whereby it will become a dough.
4.    Wrap using aluminium foil and place in fridge for an hour or so.
5.    Chop apples to cubes.
6.    In a pan, add in apples, apple juice and lemon juice.
7.    Bring to boil and then reduce heat to the point where apples turn translucent.
8.    Once apples changes, cover pan to allow water to evaporate.
9.    Place pastry dough on countertop and a fork to poke a few holes.
10.  Arrange apples on the center/ Pour apples onto the center.
11.  Pull sides of dough to cover sides of apples.
12.  Bake in over for 40-50mins at 200 degree celsius, then 180-190 degree celsius for 10mins.
13. Share the goodness with your loved ones.
