flower talks

My mother is a flower enthusiast. She enjoy dried ones and fresh ones, one way and another. She would bring home carnations, chrysanthemums, lilies, roses, statice, Anything that intrigues her, intrigues me as well. We would take time to cut and prepare vases for these vulnerable living thing. Flowers, in general, calms us down from our daily hectic schedules and captures your attention. I actually did some analysing on the flowers and wondered how they grow reflected anything about humans, and here's what I found out. (flowers that we always see around us).

-

1.    Typical flowers that grows in clusters are a relaxed bunch. They are meant for people that take things in their stride. We would take time to find out which flower stands out the most among the crowd. They fight for our acknowledgement. However, we often neglect these little beauties that bloom all year round.

2.    Flowers that grow on trees. There are two kinds - one that grows upwards, the other downwards. The birds enjoy flowers going further and further into the sky and be ahead of others. They wonder about the biggest dreams and goals. On the other hand, flowers going downwards are Down To Earth (pun not intended). I think they represent us at the end of day, eventually going back to our roots, realising that moving forward is not always the answer.

3.    Flowers that shines on their own. They are brave enough to stand alone in the midst of an open space. In addition, they attain a high position for being the only one to reach out. Every single petal is delicately bold with colours to grab anyone's heart. What are friends and family? None of that matters because they live by this quotes - “I find it wholesome to be alone the greater part of the time. To be in company, even with the best, is soon wearisome and dissipating. I love to be alone. I never found the companion that was so companionable as solitude.” ― Henry David Thoreau, Walden.

Those are what I think about them but yet, every flower should be treated the same no matter the size, colour, height just like humans. As long as there is rain and shine, they would continue to grow and bloom.
