Chocolate Chip Banana Nut Bread

こんにちは! 今日のバナナについて話すことができます! ( Hello! Lets talk about bananas today!)
Apparently there is bunch of ripened bananas left on the kitchen table and my mom would always ask me to bake something out of it. Lets face it. 我々はバナナブレッドに飽き得ることはできない! (We can never get tired of banana bread!). Its just tastes different everytime although it is baked out of the same element. For a more special approach, add whatever ingredients you find fascinating and somehow it never fails.

材料:

 Serves: 8-12

2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup sugar
2/3 cup diced walnuts
2/3 cup mini chocolate chip
 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 large ripened bananas
1/2 cup butter
2 whole eggs

方法:

1. Hand mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, walnuts, chocolate chips, and vanilla extract in mixing bowl until chocolate chips and walnuts are evenly spread out throughout mixture.
2. In another bowl, mash bananas and add to the main mixing bowl.
3. Soften the butter (I microwave for 20 seconds) and add to the main mixing bowl.
4. Add two whole eggs to main mixing bowl.
5. Mix all ingredients together by hand until it has a batter-like consistency.
6. Pour into greased loaf pan.
7. Bake at 325°F for 65 minutes till golden brown on the surface of the cake (depends on the oven and altitude).
8.When finished baking, it is best to let it set overnight before serving.

Vamp up the usual banana bread or staying the traditional way is really up to you, as long as it does not cover up the essence of bananas.
