If only I've added cheese into this recipe... it would be called for perfection. The weekend morning was supposedly meant for a hearty and fulfilling meal but when I open the fridge, I couldn't contain what I saw - it was empty. My eyes hung low and stared into my mum's eyes, "Now What?". She quickly grab the only rack of eggs and shoved it to me. "Eggs? Fried? Poached? So many ways to think of what! Still can survive one lah!" . Hence , scrambled eggs was born into my family. We have this dish almost once a week and not sick of it... yet and it never will. A good dollop of heavy cream/sour cream/ yoghurt ensures that it remains soft.
An ordinary scrambled egg
Serves: 2
Time taken : So fast that you do not have to care
What you need:
4-6 eggs
2 tbsp of cream
1 tbsp milk
Sprinkle of salt & ground black pepper
Extras:
(practically whatever you like, savoury is preferred)
Chopped spring onions
Slices of cheese
Bacon bits
Slices of ham
Parsley flakes
Salmon
Crack eggs into a bowl and stir in cream. Add in milk and mix until combined.
Heat up pan about 3 mins under medium heat and turn to low heat once mixture is poured into it.
Once the egg mixture spread across the pan, wait for approx. 2 mins or so. Push the sides of the egg to the middle continuously to ensure that it does not get burn but still get cooked. As long as the egg comes together and present a fluffy-like texture, serve it onto a plate with your favourite toppings.
Enjoy!
