The floral scene in Singapore is blooming this summer and almost every corner of the city is seen with petals. We explored the neighbourhood and came across a stretch of flowers grown by the people. Yellow Flame Tree a.k.a Peltophorum pterocarpum showered the ground with bright yellow petals that is similar to the iconic Sakura Season in Japan. We always complain about the lack of greenery/flora in Singapore and that our land is a concrete city, when in actual fact, we are the ones that neglect our surroundings. There is a ton of wild flowers blooming in our city, so much so that you have to stop by and admire their beauty.
